THE RED PIG AND THE BLUE MOUSE

THE RED PIG AND THE BLUE MOUSE

1 woman or man (solo performance)

Peška´s fairy tale about a pig and a mouse is intended for the youngest of children. It is even suitable for presentations in nursery school playrooms. It taps into a child´s imagination through its simple plotline, which is presented in a gentle way by a single actress, along with several engaging puppets. The principal figures of the tale are the blue mouse and the red pig, living in a rainbow-tinted tree. The cheerful mouse and kindly pig are contrasted by the Green “Wolf Spirit”, who hungers for the pig. He is deservedly taken to task for his mischievous deeds.
